muCon 2015, the microservices conference
muCon 2015 seems to have generated a lot of excitement on Twitter, and am genuinely disappointed I couldn’t make time to get along to it, especially as it was so close.
What’s partly so interesting about it is that the approach is new enough that there seem to be some truly conflicting views of the nature of microservices out there and that they’re actually represented at talks. Would like to have seen “We are not Object Oriented anymore” from Matteo Collina and “On the Architecture of Microservices” from Russell Winder in that regard.
Of course, the great thing about SkillMatter – well, one of the great things about SkillsMatter – is that they’re particular good at getting everything filmed and published so am looking forward to getting a look at some of the talks. I’ll just have to pose my post-talk questions on Twitter ..
